Bedrooms

Our four double bedrooms (three king size, one queen size) are equipped with towels, fans for hot weather and hairdryers. A cot is available for an infant.

Bathrooms

A large bathroom on the first floor with bath and large shower, and a medium bathroom on the second floor with shower.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with breakfast bar, 5 burner range hob, 2 ovens, fridge freezer, and plenty of crockery, cutlery, cooking implements, glassware and tableware. A highchair is available for infants.

Living/Dining Room

Aside from the kitchen, the rest of the ground floor is given over to the living area, with sofas arranged around a woodburner, HDTV with streaming options, dining table (with pool table beneath). Also equipped with board games and jigsaws.

Cinema

The cinema is accessed across the hall from the main house entrance. The cinema is equipped with 32 seats, toilet, DVD player and projector.

Library

Not haunted (probably) but has lots of books.

Utility room

Accessed from the kitchen and equipped with sink and cleaning implements, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, washing machine and clothes drying racks.

Courtyard

Accessed via the main hallway back door and equipped with table and chairs, barbecue.

Wifi:

Fast wireless broadband is available throughout the house.

Parking

Parking is shared with the owners and we provide three guaranteed parking spaces which should allow all cars to enter and exit the driveway. Please note that our driveway is located behind the house and up a narrow lane to the side of the house, and at no point should cars be parked on the lane which would block access for our neighbours.

We encourage guests to share lifts to reach us but if you plan to bring more vehicles, limited parking can be found in the two main car parks in Axbridge, please don’t hesitate to contact us for information.

Access notes

We are keen at No.36 to be as accessible as possible to allow people with health conditions or impairments to enjoy the house. It’s important to note that we are located on a slope on the hillside, and the courtyard is accessed from the parking by walking down steps. Another way to access the house is to walk down the lane at the side of the house to the front. We have a wheelchair accessible toilet in The Roxy. The other bathrooms and bedrooms are accessed by two flights of stairs in the main house. It is important to us to enhance access for everyone and we’d be eager to hear any suggestions you may have, especially if you have stayed with us before and have noticed something that could be improved upon.
